Former Chevron Executive Brings 34 Years of Global Leadership to Strategy Firm

Denver, CO – March 4, 2026 – Empactful Advisors, a leading strategy consulting firm known for helping complex organizations deliver measurable results faster, today announced that Albert (“Al”) Williams has joined the firm as a C-Level Advisor.

Williams brings more than 34 years of leadership experience at Chevron Corporation, where he most recently served as a member of the global executive team. Corporate Officer and Vice President of Corporate Affairs from 2021 through his retirement in 2025. In that role, he led global government affairs, public affairs, community relations, and corporate reputation – aligning external engagement with enterprise strategy across one of the world’s largest and most complex energy companies.

Over the course of his career, Williams held senior leadership roles spanning engineering, operations, finance, and strategic planning across the United States, Kazakhstan, Thailand, Indonesia, and Australia. He served as Managing Director of Chevron Australia from 2019 to 2021, with responsibility for financial performance, operational excellence, capital project development, and external relations. His prior leadership roles included President of Chevron Pipeline Company; Vice President of Chevron Indonesia Heavy Oil Operations; Asset Manager for Chevron Thailand; and General Manager of Finance for Chevron’s Africa and Latin America Exploration and Production Company.

Widely regarded as a role model of integrity and high performance, Williams built a reputation for steady leadership, operational rigor, and stakeholder fluency – guiding high-stakes portfolios and delivering results through regulatory complexity, capital intensity, and evolving public expectations.

At Empactful Advisors, Williams will advise CEOs, boards, and executive teams on building execution-ready strategies in industries where performance, discipline, and external trust are mission-critical.
